|Hi, I'm Angel! I'm a published author and cover artist, but mostly I'm just a weird girl who likes to draw a lot. I create a ridiculous amount of fantasy and concept art, but not all of it makes it here in a timely manner, so feel free to browse through my galleries while you wait!|
How long have you been on DeviantArt? I will have been on DA for six years this October.
What does your username mean? My username on other artist websites was GuardianAngel1 for a long time before I came to DA. Unfortunately, when I DID come to DA, that name was taken. So, I changed Angel to Dragon, and it just stuck.
Describe yourself in three words. Creative, responsible, tenacious.
Are you left or right handed? I'm a Righty.
What was your first deviation? A long since deleted portrait of an old character, which hopefully will never rear its ugly head again.
What is your favourite type of art to create? Digital illustrations. Digital paintings after that. Yes, there's a difference.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Wood carving or glass blowing.
What was your first favourite? I think it was "Golden Cascade", by kkeman, back in 2009.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Fantasy art.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? Neondragon (Jessica Peffer) is the reason I came to DA, although sadly, she's kind of dropped off the map. Since then I have found many, many other artists who I enjoy thoroughly.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? KreepingSpawn. He's a cool dude.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Moral support is sadly undervalued in a digital world. Several people on DA have been there for me, if only in spirit.
What are your preferred tools to create art? Mac, Photoshop, and a simple Wacom tablet. I'd like to try the fancier tablets and incorporate some other graphics programs into my art, but money doesn't grow on trees where I live.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? Ideally? Hawaii. In reality, I create in my second floor office.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? Getting unexpected recognition for simple fan art, and through that, discovering that there were a LOT of other people who enjoy the same fandoms that I do.
