Unpopular Opinion
While it seems the more unpopular opinion, I actually really like Eclipse. I was never that fond of the old layout, even when I joined ten years ago.
I understand the bulk of complaints about Eclipse is that most people seem to think it's not user friendly. I have a hard time understanding this, as I switched to Eclipse the week they were still beta testing it, and haven't had a single problem navigating any portion thus far. It all seems very straight forward to me.
So, then, the question becomes, what is this really about? Perhaps some people feel slighted by the fact that they were not personally asked their opinion on the subject. Perhaps others feel intimidated by having to learn a new layout. Or, perhaps, still others simply find the older site more appealing, out of nostalgia or simple "comfort zone" appeal.
Whatever the reasons, I can't fathom why anyone would try to organize a true takedown of a website that many use as their bread and butter during these difficult times, simply due to what amounts to a facelift.
I will continue to be here and upload, however sparingly, my artwork to DA for as long as the site exists. So long as it is a functioning site that allows me to post my artwork, my thoughts, and connect with other artists, then it's doing its job just fine, regardless of where the buttons are, how the notifications are displayed, and what color the background is.

Totally Swamped!
I've had a boatload of clients coming out the woodwork lately. Which, considering I have a mortgage to pay, is a good thing...however, it also means I have a lot less time for personal work, which is basically all I post on this site.
I've been thinking of posting some of my professional work on here, but the theft problem has my attention, so I'm cautious when it comes to that kind of thing.
Anyway, I'm not gone from DA, just very busy. I'll be posting things from time to time, but likely not that often.

Working on Something
I was hired to illustrate a Graphic Novel for a potential television show earlier this year and have been super busy with that. Probably will be wrapping up the preview/pitch pages here in a few weeks and then on to the real deal.
So, I'm still here, I might still have time to post some personal work from time to time, but I'll mostly be working on this project for a while, and since it's copyrighted to the author, I won't be able to share any of it with you until I get permission and the book is published.
I'm still checking in every day or so though, so if you need to drop me a note about something, feel free. I'll get it.
